NOTE: This Itinerary is meant only as a guideline and is subject to change to suit the local conditions. Walking hours are   based on an average walking pace and may change as per individual pace.








day 1

Arrival to Ktm-pick up and transfer to hotel. Free to explore for the day. Overnight in Ktm hotel.


Ktm valley sightseeing- Pashupatinath temple, Baudhanath. Lunch and after lunch we will visit Sywabhunath and Durbar square. After visiting Durbar square, walk back to hotel via old Asan Baazar. Overnight in Ktm hotel.


Patan Durbar square in the morning. After lunch we will drive to Bhaktapur (Unesco heritage site and one of the most beautiful and old city for Newari people, one of the ethnic groups in Nepal). Over night at Bhaktapur. 


After breakfast transfer to airport for Pokhara. Lunch at 3 Sisters Guest House. In the afternoon, we will visit Bahari temple by boat. Dinner at the Guest House. At 5pm we will have trek orientation, introduction with staff, and 3 Sisters/EWN presentation followed by dinner at the Chhetri Sisters Guest house.  


Evening: Nepali welcome dinner and trek orientation in Chhetri Sisters Guesthouse.


A 1.5 hour drive takes us to Nayapul ~ the starting point of our trek. From Nayapul, we take the West-Northward path and cross a suspension bridge over the Modi river. We walk through Deupur village. The trail is gently uphill until we reach Purna Gaun where we spend our first night.

From Purna Gaun, we walk through villages and farming fields for about one hour, before entering a forest and continuing to Lespar. We spend the night in a basic hotel.

From Lespar, we climb steep hills and forests, all the way up to Nangi village. Nangi village is a beautiful and famous village. It is well known for its Wireless Internet Service introduced by Mr. Mahabir Pun who received the Magasese International Award.


Lespar has a High Secondary school, telephone facilities and a Nepalese brown paper factory which you can visit if you wish to. The Dhaulagiri Mountain range is visible from the village.

Today we climb uphill to Mohare Camp (3300m) through a wild forest and we stay in a Yak hut. We eat Dal Bhat for dinner. From  Mohari Camp, we will enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the Mountains. We will wake up the next morning at around 4.30/5am to admire the beautiful sunrise on the mountains.

DAY 10

After enjoying the magnificent mountain views, we start our journey slowly by walking downhill through a trail surrounded by rhododendron, pine, oak and Juniper trees. We will hear and see various species of birds on our way to the very famous view point of Poonhill. We will then continue down to Ghorepani for about one hour and relax there.

DAY 11

We continue walking down through the forest to the Chitre village for about one and half hour. From Chitre village, we take a new path to Swanta village (2450m), which is the gateway to the Khopra trek. We will stop there for lunch.

After lunch, we enter the forest and walk through a very cool and pleasant path, hearing the sound of the river and the birds singing.

After two hours, we cross a stream and start to climb the steep Khopra Hill for another two hours, reaching Chhistibang at 2900m. We halt there for the night, among the rhododendron and oak trees.

DAY 12

We continue climbing uphill to Khopra (3660m) and spend the night there. Khopra provides internet and telephone facilities.

DAY 13

Today we wake up at 5am, eat breakfast at 5.30am.and leave for Khair Lake with a packed lunch for a pilgrimage trek to a Sacred Lake which is considered to be an abod of the Goddess Khair Barahi. Goat and Sheep sacrifice ceremonies take place there during the full moon week in July. The trail is mostly gradual but gets very steep during the last hour before reaching the Lake.

DAY 14

There are two possible ways for Bayeli

In spring or during the dry season, we take the high route straight above Khopra, enjoying the views of the fully bloomed rhododendron forest and admiring the landscapes of the Kali Gandaki valley and the spectacular mountains.


In winter or during the snow season, we take the lower route to avoid icy paths. The lower path is a little longer, and goes uphill and downhill through the forest but is much safer.

DAY 15

We take a narrow slow downward path above a cliff for about 45 minutes. We then enter the forest and continue to Tadapani, a touristy junction facing Mt. Annapurna South, Himchuli, Machhapuchre (Fishtail).

DAY 16

From here, we take an easy and a pleasant trail toward Ghandruk through a trunk of rhododendrons. We will be welcomed by the grey monkeys (Langur) and will have sufficient time to interact with them.

DAY 17

For our last day, we hike for four hours downhill to Nayapul  (1070 m) leaving the mountains behind us and completing our 12 day trek. An hour’s drive by van or taxi takes us back to the relaxing Lakeside of Pokhara. At the Chhetri Sisters guesthouse we will share an evening of food, fun & laughter with the entire trekking crew.

DAY 18

After breakfast, interested clients are welcome to join Nepali cooking class. First we will take you to our local bazaar (market) to purchase vegetables and groceries, then we will come to the EWN to prepare and cook together. Relax in the afternoon, interested clients will have the chance to visit a women’s NGO that provides skill development training in town. 

DAY 19

Fly back to Ktm in the morning. After lunch, we will the single women project. In the evening, we will have our last dinner at a traditional folk dance restaurant in Ktm. 

DAY 20 

Return back to destination.
